LSHTM works in close collaboration with research institutions across Kenya on a wide range of public health priorities, including research on hypertension care through ±õ±á°ä´Ç¸é‑A´Ú°ù¾±³¦²¹, which works with KEMRI-Wellcome Trust to improve community-based models in rural areas. The School also played a leading role in the , a large-scale study evaluating the effectiveness of school- versus community-based deworming programmes in Kwale County. In Nairobi, LSHTM researchers lead the Maisha Fiti study, a longitudinal project exploring the links between violence, mental health and HIV risk among female sex workers, with strong community involvement and public engagement.
n the field of eye health, LSHTM’s works with partners in Kenya on , a smartphone-based screening and referral system originally developed through a PhD project in Kenya. Recent research also highlights disparities in service use, showing that than older adults.

Intercalating students
To enrol in an MSc programme, you'll need the equivalent of a bachelor's degree. This typically means holding having completed the first three years of a medical degree.

English language requirements
Non-UK and Irish nationals must meet English language requirements for a Student visa. Applicants from or with a UK Bachelor's equivalent degree in one of these countries automatically meet the requirements.
LSHTM's programmes have academic English language requirements classified into three bands:
- Band A: Highest requirement
- Band B: Standard requirement
- Band C: Lowest requirement
