New MARCH Centre Report & Strategy 2023–2027

MARCH Centre Report and Strategy 2023-2027 front cover and updated theme infographic

We are delighted to launch our new MARCH Centre Report and Strategy for 2023–2027. At the halfway point to the Sustainable Development Goals, we have systematically reviewed our current research, compared to global burden and identified priorities and gaps, setting a vision for the next generation of research and for research leadership across the globe.

The new report includes an updated theme infographic, demonstrating the importance of sexual and reproductive health and rights, including safe abortion, and how this transcends our existing themes of Adolescents and young people, Births and Children. The infographic also highlights the ‘four Cs’: Climate, conflict, COVID-19 and the cost of living crisis, emphasising their contextual role and recognising that women, children and adolescents are often the most vulnerable to these risk factors.

Throughout the report, we acknowledge the multidisciplinary nature of research focused on and related to MARCH themes, and the importance of collaboration within and between other LSHTM °®ÍþÄÌapp, projects, affiliated organisations, partners, funders and the communities we work with globally. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the report and the design team at Spy Studio for bringing our vision to life.

We hope you find it an enjoyable and insightful read.
