What's The Big Idea? School joins Universities Week

The °®ÍþÄÌapp of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is taking part in Universities Week: What's The Big Idea? (14th to 20th June 2010), a campaign organised by Universities UK, which aims to tell the public about higher education's often unsung and unheard success stories.

What's The Big Idea? is a national pilot campaign to highlight the essential role of universities in the UK and their impact on the economy, culture, science, society, the environment and much more.

The campaign brings together all of the country's higher education achievements under a single banner, to highlight what our universities have to offer on a local and national level. It already has the support of over 100 universities and organisations, through a variety of events taking place in your area.
