Leading editors join forces to explain 'prior publication' to new researchers

A new policy statement explaining what is meant by 'prior publication', which should prove invaluable to new (and existing) researchers, has just been published.

The editors of the , which has its editorial office within LSHTM, have joined forces with the editors of other journals to produce a policy statement aimed at helping authors to determine whether work which was previously published in a different format constitutes 'prior publication', and would therefore be prohibited from publication in academic journals. .
