Dr Leesa Lin, Associate Professor at the °®ÍþÄÌapp of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), serves as Co-Director of the Vaccine Confidence Project (VCPTM) and leads the Digital and Behavioural Innovations Group, focusing on advancing global health outcomes. Dr. Lin specialises in behavioural sciences, social epidemiology, and implementation science. Her work addresses critical public health challenges, including pandemic preparedness, climate-related disasters, vaccine hesitancy, antimicrobial resistance, misinformation, health equity, and assessing confidence in the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

Dr. Lin directs interdisciplinary projects that integrate AI, machine learning, big data analytics, disease risk assessment, and statistical modelling. These initiatives aim to strengthen vaccine confidence, build societal resilience, and advance mental, maternal, and child health outcomes. Her research employs mixed-methods approaches, incorporating social listening, population surveys, rapid polling, qualitative inquiry, and routine medical data analysis, to develop and evaluate innovative behavioural and digital interventions. Dr. Lin's work has informed impactful tools like evidence-based guidelines, executive education and training programmes, and AI-powered digital solutions.

Dr. Lin holds a PhD in Behavioural and Social Epidemiology and Implementation Science from LSHTM, an ScM in Global Health and Population from the Harvard School of Public Health, and a BA in Psychology and Asian Studies from the University of British Columbia.
