Ms Kate LeGrand
Research Student - MPhil/PhD - Epidemiology & Population Health
United Kingdom
I'm pursuing a PhD in which I use mathematical modelling to evaluate the impact of social contact and human mobility on the effectiveness of TB active case finding cluster randomised trials.
Previously, I've led geospatial studies of tuberculosis and other critical topics in infectious disease epidemiology, used community based participatory research to assess local health and economic needs, and have contributed to analyses and publications for the Global Burden of Disease study.
I completed my Master of Public Health and a Graduate Certificate in Medical Anthropology at the University of South Florida (USA) and my BSc in Biomedical Science at the University of New England (USA).
